Consulting Charges

I charge $150.00 per hour for my services.

I require a retainer up front before I start work on a project. My services are billed against this retainer until only $500.00 are left. Work after this point is billed monthly until the project ends. The $500.00 is used to pay the last invoice on a project or is returned to the client if no costs remain unpaid. I bill work expenses to my clients at cost.

I require a travel retainer to be paid two weeks prior to each instance of required travel. I bill travel expenses against this retainer and bill any additional expenses at the end of the month. I bill travel expenses at cost plus an hourly consulting fee for each hour of the day that I am involved in my client's work.

 
     
 

Flat Fee Work

For certain types of projects I will often negotiate a flat fee for the entire job. I require an up front payment of one quarter of the negotiate price before work begins. All remaining payments are due upon project completion.

Because of the amount of trust involved in this type of agreement, I generally offer flat fee work only to my established clients. I will consider flat fee work for other clients on a case by case basis.

 
     
 

Short Term Loans

I will sometimes take certain percentages of my flat fee work as a short term loan on a case by case basis.

 
     
 

Fee Splitting

I am not a real estate sales person and I cannot and will not be involved in fee splitting.

I frequently work with real estate brokers who have taken child care properties and need guidance. I generally come onto the project as a consultant directly to either the seller or the buyer. I can also work as a consultant directly to the real estate broker or to the builder.
